David R. Mietty

David R. Mietty is a Wealth Management Consultant and is responsible for providing wealth management, investment strategy, estate planning, trust, and life insurance advice for UBS Financial Services, Inc.’s Financial Advisors in 26 offices in Ohio, Michigan and Indiana. In addition to his consulting services, David is responsible for coordinating the Comerica Bank trust specialists and the UBS Attorney Network for his region. He brings to UBS Financial Service over 20 years of professional corporate fiduciary experience, including managerial positions in estate settlement, estate tax, and wealth management. He also has extensive professional experience with fiduciary litigation, closely-held businesses, charitable trusts and irrevocable life-insurance trusts.

David received his Bachelor of Arts cum laude (1980) in Psychology and English, his Master of Business Administration (1985) in Finance and his Juris Doctor (1984) in Corporate Law and Taxation, all from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. On a part-time basis, he is pursuing his Master of Laws in Taxation at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He has also attended the ABA National Trust School (1985) at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. David is licensed to practice law in Ohio and is a former member of The Ohio Bar Association, The Cleveland Bar Association, The Estate Planning Council of Cleveland and The Financial and Estate Planning Council of Detroit .
