HEART OF SAILING RECEIVES APPROVAL FOR COMMUNITY FUNDRAISING PROGRAMS WITH GROCERY RETAILERS RALPH’S & ALBERTSONS
Dana Point, California – Heart of Sailing is pleased to announce it has received approval as an authorized recipient for the Community Contributions Program with Ralph’s as well as Albertson’s Community Partners. The retailers only provide funds to 501(c)(3) charities that pass eligibility tests and complete an application process.
This participation is an easy, yet unique way for families to support Heart of Sailing by choosing HoS to receive contributions from their grocery purchases at the sponsoring retailers. Both retailers will donate certain percentages of qualifying purchases to the charity chosen by the shoppers who enroll their cards. Simply by scanning the shopper’s card, a percentage of the total groceries purchased is donated to HoS by the supporting store.
At Ralph’s, participants can enroll in the Ralph’s Club Card by visiting Ralph’s website and selecting Community Contribution, then completing the required information designating Heart of Sailing as the chosen charity.
At Albertsons, customers can use their Preferred Savings Card to support Heart of Sailing. On the company website, customers enter their zip code and then select the link for Preferred Savings Card to manage their account and designate the charity of choice. Qualifying purchases at Albertsons and Sav-On are eligible for contributions. Participants can also check the status of the amounts contributed from shopping purchases.
